This weekend sees two events on the The Tump. Firstly on Thursday and Friday Reading University have a team taking core samples and mapping the Earthworks as part of a larger project looking at Tumulus across the country. We will be sent information about their findings next year.
Secondly a big Medieval day on Saturday, battles and weapon making, costumes. Perhaps life as it may have been lived when the Tump was the village. 10 am onwards, phone to book place as part of events or just visit and enjoy the atmosphere.
