The Parish Council would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all those people who supported our first scarecrow festival, either by making one of the 100 scarecrows around the village or by attending the events held during the three days.
We have been overwhelmed by the imaginative, artistic creations produced and the general support given in the form of raffle prizes, cakes and time. We feel this has been a great community event. More details of prize winners etc will appear in the next Revel but in the meantime ‘Many Thanks’.
We would also like to thank Jeanette and Len for all their hard work and time putting the event together. I think everyone would agree it was a great event and if you would like to see a similar event next year please step forward and volunteer.
